Technical communicators and
others are confronted with the task of gathering diverse information
and somehow weaving them together into a paragraph, a section, or an
entire chapter. Too often, this results in facts that are present, but
not presentable - paragraphs lack coherent development, either crammed
with too much information, or providing too little. To make matters
worse, technical reviewers are usually focused on technical accuracy,
ignoring readability.
This course teaches you how to turn a collection of dry facts into a
flowing, coherent piece of writing. You'll learn how to construct
balanced, easy to read paragraphs and sections that engage the reader's
attention and that effectively communicate the information that you
want to get across.
