The Technical Writing module teaches the principles and techniques for producing clear, easily understood technical documentation. The module begins with an understanding of the elements of style and grammar common to all good writing. But, unlike other technical writing courses, it proceeds far beyond that point to establish an innovative method for writing highly readable technical instructions and in-depth technical explanations.
Using contemporary research in rhetoric, psychology, and communications, the module teaches students how to produce professional technical documentation in much less time that it takes with alternative methods.
